Surfboarding

Early one morning when the tide was high and the sun was shining Liv,Hannah,Nicole,Finnly and I were heading towards the beach with hired surfboards '' Here comes a massive wave" yelled Hannah, we all kneeled on our boards with a flash of excitement. Suddenly the GIGANTIC wave roared towards us it came closer and closer by the second we caught the wave "YEEES" we all screamed with happiness.

Our Mums called us to come in and have a bite to eat and then we would return to our boards. Of course it was Christmas Morning so we got given our presents what was in them? Surfboards with wheels.

That afternoon we decided to catch some waves with our new wheels we think that this was a ride up to the rollercoaster. The terrific terrifying roller coaster is called the Surfboard Saga and is really famous in Australia, the Surfboard Saga had lots of Amazingly bright fluro colours on them I chose purple because it is my favourit colour. We went straight down the beach first then BOOM! like lightning a pitch black tunnel was there, the ride to the water was misrebly slow and then out came a beautiful bright beach, it was called Surfers Paradise and now I see why it is called that. We reached the water and then lightning speed it was all over.

I personally think that anyone who is up for a thrill, is seeking adventures and who likes rollercoasters that throw you about and push and pull you around will love it. This was an amazing adventure "I will definately do this again".

Why DIctonaries are in Alphabetical Order

A dictionary is a book that has words in it,It teaches you how to spell certain words and the meaning of certain words as well, for example the meaning of din means a loud noise, alphabetical order is when there is something in order of the alphabet for example ABCDEFG etc.

When you are at the age of 5 or sometimes even 4 you learn how to say and write the alphabet so as you get to the age of 7 you are able to find a word in a dictionary.
One of the reasons why a dictionary is in alphabetical order is because it is a simple way to locate and spell a word.

Another reason why dictionaries are put in alphabetical order is because the alphabet is very easy to learn and remember when you are young.
It is an easy way to learn how to spell, find the meaning of something and it makes things a whole lot easier.
When you get more confident in using the dictionaries you will almost know that you can spell more complicated words you just look in the dictionary.

If it takes you forever to find a word in a dictionary then you would hate using it to help you so then your school writing, reading and spelling so they want children to be able to be really good at writing, reading and spelling.
But it is just a harder way to learn if they do not have it in alphabetical order.

Dictionaries are in alphabetical order is because if the dictionary was not in alphabetical order then it would take you forever to find a word.
Children learn the alphabet when they are young so they will know how to spell, use a dictionary and read.
It makes things a whole lot easier than if a dictionary was not in alphabetical order.

My Snowy Ride

One snowy winter holidays we were on the helicopter ride enjoying the view of the American Mountains we landed and started skiing. Ahh . I heard a sudden scream it was Hannah, she had crashed into Olivia and Nicole. I went to the rescue. Hannah was cracking up laughing but she was covered in white cold snow then she started crying. Hannah was taken to hospital by an ambulance officer who goes by the name of "Nana Snake" . Hannah was in the ambulance for about an hour or so. Hannah woke up singing "Everybody dance everybody sing everybody try a chicken wing" but i think it was the pills she was on.
Meanwhile I checked the slope Olivia and Nicole were having a blast, Hannah wasn't going to be able to sing for a while so I asked her if I could go skiing she just sang more and more this time she sang Price Tag by Jesse J, What was wrong with her ?
Then Hannah got let out and we went to the slope we just didn't go to the tree ski field, we went to the snow slope .
Next we saw Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez but they asked us to go to the Private Slope, We said "Sure"
Hannah was back to normal by he time we got the top of the slope, because it was a long way up.
The helicopter picked us up again so we could get to the very top. Hannah asked me " Wheres Liv and Nicole?" I replied to her saying "Uh Oh".
Where were they?
Will they ever survive the coldness without there jackets?
I don't no!
Then BAM! Who's this i think it is Rebecca she came in a bluish purple light she had her private jet with her. Jump in she said hop in we will go find Liv and Nicole. we found them shouting for help.yeah they survived, they were on the private slope anyway we know regret going there and next time we will go to the new roller coaster opening in Aussie and Hannah can shout us for her birthday.
i think it would be a good idea. Olivia and Nicole ended up coming back and were really happy and they never want to go back there again.
