My CAR Goal

My goal is to save up for another pair of converse.
It will cost $100.
I am able to achieve this goal by doing my chores, saving my pocket money and Christmas money.
I will achieve this goal by the 2nd of January, that is 5 weeks away.
My goal is realistic to achieve in this time.

Cinquain Poem

Rainbow
Bright, colourful
Flying, sparkling, dazzling
Glaring in the sky when it rains
Cheerful

Super Suspension

We liked the length of our design because it was a good size for a bridge. We also liked the shape of it, because it was easy to work with. We liked the colours as well because they made the bridge look like a mini tourist attraction and more appealing.

We didn't like the height because the length wouldn't work with it, which made it sink in the middle. We also didn't like the overall outcome because the middle sank in.

If we had more time we would start again and make some changes.

Haiku Poems

Rainbows
Colours in the sky,
Sparkling up so high, they fly,
Glaring in the air.

My Day In a Wheelchair

Today I went to technology in a wheelchair it was hard at the start but then I got the hang of it and I now feel different about people in wheelchairs because I have experienced it the hardest part of today was in cooking when you have to get in to small spaces and when your on the grass :)!

Cultural Festival 2012

On Tuesday the 4th of September Burnham School Kapa Haka Group were backstage ready to go on tho the stage to perform at the 2012 Cultural Festival at the CBS Arena. Gem from What Now was on stage giving out a Cultural Festival t-shirt. Finnly was really nervous, I just told her to breathe and imagine no one was there. The two hosts Matai and Ra said,"We now have Te Kura O Tiori, Burnham School reaching for the stars".
All I heard was Hannah's sister Michaella say," Go Burnham"
The boys haka's were really loud and the stage was shaking and made our performance come come in with a bang. Then we got into Ka Pioioi, our kaea's Taleah, Hannah and Britteney sounded amazing and lead us in brilliantly, the group filled the stadium with noise, it sounded amazing.
Our last song was Reach for the Stars, but we sang it in Maori with a mix of English. The first verse was the girls poi and the rest we did actions to. When we got back to our seats I'm sure we all still had that adrenaline in us, but we soon settled down.
The Cultural Festival was really fun this year, it was my 5th time I have performed at a Cultural Festival

Statistical Investigation Poster

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad

Our groups statistical investigation was I wonder if boys can throw further than girls?
The type of graph I created was a bar graph.
The results show that boys can throw further in distance and longer from the time in the air.
